Well I'll say this first off. I like "The Rock" as an actor. Deal with it!
Ok, so with that out of the way. This movie was kinda cute. It was nice to see a disney film (non-animated) that wasn't a "kids" film and they had gone back to basics with their "family" films. At no level did I feel I was sitting in a theater full of snot nosed brats. Also the special effects weren't over the top. Alot more grounded in practical effects which is a bonus to me.
I'd say rent it... if you want to. If it's not your cup of tea, don't go out of your way. But if you're watching the kids and need something both of you can enjoy. Go check it out.
