Rated - PG-13

I just watched both the Hulk vs. Wolverine and Hulk vs. Thor last night. I must give kudos to Marvel for pumping out continuously good animated features. Their past couple being, Avengers (1,2 and "new"), Dr. Strange and Iron Man. These have all had some redeamable value. (some not as much as others.)
But all in all, they have really hit their stride. With these new releases they have truely found their nitch market. The PG13 land!
The blood, gore, and humor are all on a good PG - PG13 level. Finally, I have posted the Hulk vs. Wolverine trailer because it is the better of the two. Thor is a good story and fun romp with the Hulk, but the Wolverine one is non-stop action. It's just great! The only downfall is that on a gut feeling I woul place this at a rental. I don't have much reason for going back and buying the DVD's, but then again, I leave that up to you, faithful reader! Excelsior!
"... I miss you wolverine, no one calls me Bub anymore..."

Direct to DVD releases' true merit is to supposed to be that the cost of production is covered by sales. Now, considering all of these seem to be rent-worthy and not buy-worthy that would seem to be a problem. Does Marvel really make that much that it's a worthwhile expense?
I can honestly say that after watching all of these and comparing them with the DC releases for Watchmen that DC knows how to make things worth your hard earned dollar.
i agree and disagree at the same time...
i think DC's are worth the purchase more (as far as longevity and replay value.)
But I still prefer marvels stories better... but i aslo know that is mostly personal taste.
