An odd mix of "The Wall" and "Rocky Horror" meets dark emo vampire music. It doesn't sound like it shoul work, but I enjoyed this one more than I should have. Like I said, it's a bit too emo and definatly trying too hard to be dark and spooky, but there's some sort of sick heart to the story. The comic style was very nicely done and gave the film an orignial feel. Now by no means would I suggest this to anyone off the street. It is most certainly a cult-ish movie that will gain its following over time, but if you find yourself into the plot of an operetta based on comic book violence and organ harvesting, then I'd say check it out. Might be a good rainy day rental for your already dark and tourtered soul.
